Boiling eggs

I usually have a hard time getting eggs boiled perfectly until I found this article courtesy of Food Network.

First off a hint: Do NOT put salt in the water. Let it boil naturally, salt is what causes the green ring around the yolk of the egg.

Soft Eggs-  Bring a pot of water over high heat. reduce the heat to low, then add your eggs and cook 4 to 5 minutes. Drain, cool in ice water and peel.

Medium Eggs-  Bring a pot of water over high heat. reduce the heat to low, then add your eggs and cook 6 to 8 minutes. Drain, cool in ice water and peel.

Hard eggs- Place your eggs in a pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then cover, remove from the heat, and set aside 8 to 10 minutes. Drain, cool in ice water and peel.
